1) Fill Ara-Taro with water, either from a water bottle you have on hand or a water source (Ara-Taro can hold 0.9L of water, weight will be 1kg when full). Water will be released in the upright position, so make sure you are in a location where water drips won't cause any problems:
2) Be sure to hold Ara-Taro upside down in the position shown when moving around. Water will be released if Ara-Taro is held upright:
3) When Ara-Taro is held in the upright position, water will quickly be released through the Mohair pad. Sprinkle some water around the surface of the vehicle first before cleaning:
4) Start cleaning! The Mohair pad is extremely soft and will pick up dirt easily. There's a limit to what can be cleaned, so for more stubborn dirt and debris (such as bird droppings, fallen berry stains, etc.) please use other methods to clean those types of dirt or debris:
Dirt is easily picked up by the Mohair pad. The 0.9L water tank capacity is enough to clean a medium sized passenger car (eg: E21 Toyota Corolla) without refilling the tank:
6) If there is any unused water in the tank, remove the cap and empty the tank in a drain or convenient place:
7) Separate the Velcro strap underneath the handle and remove the Mohair pad:
8) Squeeze the Mohair pad to remove any excess water. The pad can now be stored for cleaning later, whenever it's convenient:
9) If you have one available, be sure to dry the vehicle with a chamois cloth:
10) The Mohair pad can be washed with ordinary hand soap or dishwashing detergent:
11) When no more dirt or particles remain, squeeze the Mohair pad to remove excess water:
12) The Mohair pad can be hung outside to dry naturally:
The lifespan of the pad depends on the frequency of use. Each Ara-Taro comes with 1x spare Mohair pad and a convenient stand to store the Ara-Taro when not in use, which preserves the integrity of the Mohair pad.
