According to Best Car magazine (Japan) the next generation Nissan GT-R will be released in 2028 at the same time when solid state batteries will be commerically available (albeit in small numbers)! The expected motor output is 1360ps, with an electronic 4WD system that controls all four wheels independently. Those features together with an all carbon fiber body and a huge leap forward in aerodynamic capability will put the overall performace and dynamics of the next generation GT-R firmly into the hypercar category!
