Carmate CF-8 Carbon Fiber Rearview Mirror DZ563 (Large 300mm length)

CF-8 is a hybrid material of resin reinforced with carbon fiber. By blending the right amount of carbon fiber and resin, the mirror becomes both lightweight and highly rigid.
By combining resin with the strength and lightweight properties of carbon fiber, CF-8 can make use of the benefits of both materials which results in a unique pattern for each rearview mirror. Not only is the CF-8 Rearview mirror an attractive design, it is also 25% lighter than an equivalent sized mirror, which results in greatly reduced vibrations (blurred reflections).

[About 3000SR Convex Mirrors]
Convex surfaces are measured using the "Steradian" unit. In other words, the convex surface is 3000mm which gives a 3m wide angle view. At 300mm in width, the view is 2.3 times that of a standard mirror installed in vehicles. The downside of wide angle mirrors is that the curved surface makes the reflected object appear smaller than it actually is. Carmate have chosen 3000SR as the best combination between wide angle and acceptable reduction in reflected object size.
