"Chashuki Origins" Tin Sake Cups Series by NAKAGO

"Chashuki" (茶酒器) in English means "Tea & Sakeware"!

A range of individually styled sake cups to suit your taste. The origin of Tea and Sakeware in Ureshino, Saga Prefecture, has a regional culture of 500 years of Ureshino tea and 200 years of Sake breweries. The tea and sake served instead of an aperitif at Wataya Besso Japanese Restaurant "Rikyu" in Ureshino is a crystallization of the wisdom of both parties, where tea farmers and sake breweries coexist. Tea and sake are made by steeping black tea leaves, which have a rich aroma and flavor, in Honjozo sake, which has a strong flavor, for more than half a day to extract, bringing out the best in each tea and creating a completely new flavor. "Chashuki Origins" is a series created as vessels for this tea and sake.

There are four designs, each with individual themes:

Akane

A cup for enjoying black tea. The name Akane comes from the design inspired by the red color of black tea.

Shizuku 

A vessel for enjoying cold-brewed Sencha (infused green tea). The name Shizuku means "drop" so that you can enjoy the deliciousness of the tea leaves as they slowly drip drop by drop from the premium tea.

Utage

A vessel for enjoying Ureshino tea. The name "Utage" (banquet) was chosen with the hope that it would be enjoyed casually on a daily basis.

Kaoru

A vessel for enjoying roasted green tea. It is named Kaoru so that you can enjoy the strong aroma of roasted green tea.
