A new series from NAKAGO released in March 2024 called Ochoko. "Ochoko" simply means "sake cup" in Japanese. NAKAGO's tableware has become colourful with these unique lacquered sake cups.
These cups take on a gentle form and are carefully painted one by one by lacquer artisans. Utilising NAKAGO's original design, the five colours of the sparkling sake cups will accompany you while enjoying your favourite Japanese sake.
The Ochoko tin sake cup has a weight of just under 100g and is heavier than standard ceramic or glass sake cups of the same size, giving it a luxurious feel in the hand.
Each cup is individually placed in a fine Paulownia wood box lined with impact resistant foam.
