Tomica Limited Vintage "Ogikubo Danshii" Vol.7 - Nissan Skyline 2000 Turbo GT-ES

"Ogikubo Danshii" (Ogikubo Soul) is the series of Prince and Nissan miniature cars that evoke the soul of the Ogikubo factory in the Tama region in Tokyo, the birthplace of the Prince Motor Company. 

Released in 2021 to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the R30 Nissan Skyline, the 2000 Turbo GT-ES was the top model available prior to the RS model released in 1985. As for public relations, none other than Paul Newman was contracted to take on promotional duties, which was such a success that the R30 series came to be known as the "Newman Slyline".

This 1/64 scale die cast model is accurately dipicted right down to the front grille, alloy wheels and reversed Turbo GT-ES emblem on the front bumper.
